Getting to the point: The history of mankind is a sequence of sex, violence and oppression which is repeated in all phases of development in a similar manner.
Because of civilization and humanity: we have not learned anything and conduct ourselves controlled by drives and instincts of our ancestors!
Thanks for your long comment.

Pfft!
Notice how the entire thing is given exclusive form a Western view -- European-based Civilization --as if the rest of the world has no history whatsoever of sex and violence, they're just innocent bystanders to the "story" of the West. Except for the primal opening, the bones thrown to ancient near-east and Egypt, it's all Eurocentric and Americano. Forget the internecine incessant tribalism of sub-Saharan Africa, the perpetual cruelties of Persian and Arabic cultures that kept them trapped in a medieval world view, the thousands years of middle-eastern slavery that continues to the present, the "hareems," the slave pens, the never-ending systematic theologically-based oppression of women in Islam, the Jihads, the concubines of Asia, never mind the 4000 years of China's war on itself and it neighbors, their deliberately promoted culture of child prostitution, ignore the geishas and rampant pederasty of the Samurai, disregard the caste system of Hindus that has subjected entire populations to poverty and abuse for thousands of years, ignore the pre-Columbian cannibal civilizations where cruelty and slavery was a virtue, and then completely overlook that this timeline is really one of Western progression in human advancement through Western technology, science, medicine, engineering, architecture, humanities, civil rights, rule of law, plus modern digital society and martial expertise. I could go on and on but why bother. And the worst part: there was nothing here to jack off to!
