Of course...there was not sufficient space in that comment bar to dive into the subject, and this is probably not the best place to address the presence of PFAS in everything, everywhere, from here to eternity. . It was meant more as an expression that we are well and truly fucked.
You should check out a California scientist Kimberley Prather who has measured other toxicities from wave surface activation like fecal bacteria and even the covid virus.
Many scientists thought PFAS were going to go into the ocean and would disappear, but this research shows that they cycle around and come back to land, and this could continue for a long time into the future. So the issue is not that the ocean is dangerous per se, it is that we need to prevent PFAs getting into the oceans in the first place.
Now I can't find that unhappy dude because I don't remembef his username. Oh, well. Maybe he'll insult my page someday and I'll compliment his quotes, again. 😂😂
