If you have lied or stole something only ONCE in your life, God will inflict a penalty to you, NOT BECAUSE you do not believe in Him or you are not worried, BUT BECAUSE, in fact, you have already broken the Law. And violating the Law results in a fair punishment, not in lack of punishment. So despite your unbelief, you would rightly go to hell on the Doomsday not to ever get out.
However, there was a man, who saw all your faults and weaknesses, and therefore he entered the courtroom and said with love for you, “I sacrifice my whole life to pay the penalty FOR YOU.”
Then the judge says to YOU, “YOUR penalty has been paid. You have become a free man because this man PAID YOUR PENALTY.”
What would you feel then? Would you say “Thank you” to this man, who sacrificed his life for you?
This is what God did FOR YOU more than 2,000 years ago. He sent his sinless son, Jesus Christ, to pay YOUR PENALTY with His life. That was necessary as you have already broken the Law of God with YOUR SINS and you COULD NOT have been justified by any religion, your good deeds or going to church.
Therefore, ONLY THROUGH THE SACRIFICE OF SINLESS CHRIST, you have the chance to live IN GRACE of God. And in order to take advantage of it and live in freedom away from the upcoming hell – you must first CONFESS AND GIVE UP your sins and TRUST Jesus ONLY, as He is the One who had paid YOUR PENALTY with His own life.
And then your isolation from any iniquities, addictions and rebellions will not arise out of any obligation or compulsion, but only out of your gratitude for what Christ did for you.
Do you have then enough the courage to duly appreciate your life and requite to Jesus through CEASING TO SIN? Or would you rather reject HIM or replace Him with someone which will result in recognition the eternal and severe consequences of your OWN FAULTS and perseverance to the grace of God?
