Ready For Love

by Ruth Kephart

Take my hand and lead the way;
tell me all you want to say.
Whisper softly in my ear,
all those things I want to hear.
Kiss my lips and touch my skin;
bring out passions deep within.
Pull me close and hold me near;
take away my pain and fear.
In the darkness of the night,
be my beacon, shine your light.
In the brightness of the sun,
show me that you are the one.
Give me wings so I can fly;
for I can soar when you're nearby.
Enter my heart, break down the wall,
it's time for me to watch it fall.
I've been a prisoner, can't you see?
Break my ... Continue»

[Story] Delilah and the Deep Blue Sea. (Part One.)

This story has taken me forty years to tell and I only finally relate it now in the firm conviction that nobody will believe a single word of it. In many respects that doesn’t concern me. I have other motives than those of persuading the reader of the veracity of my tale. I write it more to exorcise a ghost that has haunted me for most of my adult life and will doubtless continue to do so for the rest of my days. It is a story, the memory of which, has been my constant companion these past forty years and has dominated my life in the sense that everything I am today has been shaped by tho... Continue»

[Story] Delilah and the Deep Blue Sea. (part four)

The skipper of my boat was a man of few words it seemed for he maintained a taciturn silence as we sailed away from the island. I didn’t mind the lack of communication. I huddled miserably in the stern of the fishing boat, lost in my own thoughts and hardly in a mood to talk. My tear blurred eyes were fixed upon the dwindling view of the island as we left it far astern. Soon it was nothing but a pinprick on the horizon and shortly afterwards I lost it in the afternoon haze. It felt as if something had been torn from my soul.
I blinked away my tears and glanced ahead. A sliver of land had ... Continue»

[Story] Delilah and the Deep Blue Sea (part three)

One day (I suppose it must have been after I’d spent about two months on the island) I was down along the shoreline collecting driftwood. On these occasions I always kept my eye open for anything else that might be of any use and this day I had a real find. Washed up against some rocks a few yards off the beach was a large plastic garbage bin. An old discarded garbage bin might not seem anything to get excited about but it was as good as treasure from King Solomon’s mines as far as I was concerned. There were literally dozens of uses we could put such a large receptacle to. My mistress was b... Continue»

[Story] Delilah and the Deep Blue Sea. (Part Two)

When I awoke the next morning I was alone. I rose up from my bed amidst the ruins of the villa and peered around cautiously. There was no sign of her. Carefully I tip-toed out from the ruins and conducted a quick scan of the surroundings. The little olive grove was quite deserted other than the small creatures with which I shared the island. These seemed busy at this early hour. There was a little dark grey bird singing from the scrub at the edge of the olive grove. It had a musical voice I found quite soothing. I was to become familiar with that little bird and the mate he found to build ... Continue»

[Story] If Men Wrote Problem Pages...

Q: My husband continually asks me to perform oral sex on him.
A: Do it. Semen can help you lose weight and gives a great glow to your skin. Interestingly, men know this. His offer to allow you to perform oral sex on him is totally selfless. This shows he loves you. The best thing to do is to thank him by performing it twice a day; then cook him a nice meal.

Q: My husband doesn't know where my clitoris is.
A: Your clitoris is of no concern to your husband. If you must mess with it, do it in your own time or ask your best friend to help. You may wish to videotape yourself while doing th... Continue»

Two sides of a lesbian encounter

The Predator’s Tale
I was browsing through the women’s clothes section in the John Lewis store on Oxford Street; one eye on the clothes and another on my fellow shoppers. I’m always alert for the chance you see. It was fairly quiet, with just a few women like me, idly looking. A mother and daughter were looking at some ballgowns together; both were sexy in their own way and I lingered close for a while. I found a couple of really pretty dresses and a silk blouse but couldn’t make my mind up if I really wanted them and getting bored moved over to the lingerie department, letting my fingers pla... The Light in the East.

The Light in the East.

My country is known for the emergent light in the east; rising from the waters of the Pacific Ocean. The people of the mainland in China knew our country as that which lay in the east beyond the horizon where the ball of light would lift from the sea and they called it “the land of the rising sun”. We adopted it as symbolic of our country and our flag depicted the rising sun. Perhaps in our mythology we fancied that somehow we were blessed above other peoples for we were the rising sun. But t... Continue»

[Story] Some Corner of a Foreign Field

“If I should die, think only this of me,
That there’s some corner of a foreign field.
That is forever England.”
Rupert Brooke (1887-1915)

29th August 1944.

Michelle paused cautiously at the edge of the copse and listened. She could hear hasty, muffled voices from the far side of the copse and the clumsy clatter of metal upon metal... Continue»
