Everyone here in xHamsterland receives avatar invitations from people who are not known to you in any way. Sometimes you even wonder where your path crossed theirs to elicit such an invitation. Unless you are into "peacocking" or collecting friends avatars just to have them on display, chances are that you would like to get some kind of a feel for this person contacting you before you click "yes" or "no". Life in xHamsterland starts for all of us in only one dimension...the profile. It's what we bring to that profile that adds depth, color and richness. But, if you click on an "invite avatar" and find little to no input from them on their profile page, you've got nothing to go on. Personally, speaking, I don't like to find myself in that position, nor do I want to put anyone else in it with my invitation.
No one says that you have to do a ton of stuff on your personal page space to help others get a reading on who you are, but it's good to do and say something of substance and interest. Unless anonymity is your thing, and if it is, why are you sending out friends invites in the first place. Nothing quite as weird as clicking to a profile page with a blank avatar showing and seeing a grouping of friends avatars that are also blank!
Oh well, thanks to my friend Jurgen, the "PornManiac11", I offer these superbly crafted guideline posters that he crafted on this very subject. There are always exceptions to everything and your final decision to accept or decline an invite is still going to be a guess of sorts. But, that guess can be made much more positive and hopeful with just a little help/input from your potential "friends".
I HOPE YOU ENJOY THESE SLICK LITTLE DITTIES AS MUCH AS I DO. MANY THANKS AGAIN TO JURGEN!.....Steve
