What's with this IR anyway?

IR.. Infrared. Wavelength: 850nm. That's what I'm using to light any pics or videos I may post here, along with using cameras that are designed to see it. Most commonly available cameras are the older Sony Camcorders with "NightVision".
Yep, it looks a bit odd. Quality isn't that good, but I am working on it. No real color to it and it resembles Black & White. Except the colors often show up differently. Black is rarely black. Dark is often light. Skin tones are generally a pasty white and the lighting can be rather harsh.
Why use this? It's certainly not as flattering to me as normal light and cameras can be. If suppose if someone actually requests pics of what I look like in normal light, I may post some for comparison. Otherwise, I'm sticking to the theme I expressed in my profile, which necessitates I use IR lighting.
It's a strange erotic experiment for me. Something I'm getting off on. For the material I'm posting here, I have no plans to deviate. Granted, it's kind of weird. Sort of like the people most likely to read and look at my stuff :)
What I can tell you is that what you're seeing here is exactly the same thing you would see if you were looking through my window and/or any other location I might choose to utilize. I'm not pulling any punches.
