Back in the '70s, when the line between the adult film industry and the mainstream movie industry was blurred a bit, a few "straight" actors like James Hong did non-sex roles. Cameron Mitchell was in DIXIE RAY, HOLLYWOOD STAR, and Aldo Ray appeared in SWEET SAVAGE. Sure,they did it for the money in the waning years of their careers, and for a time the porn producers, eager for legitimacy in Hollywood, were willing to pay extra bucks for some marketable names. By the early '80s, however, the mainstream industry had thoroughly segregated adult movies, and most mainstream actors avoided them thereafter.
